2nd Symposium on Infectious Diseases in Areas of Disaster / Catastrophe

This conference is part of the Disease Management Series (DMS), a worldwide project supported by the ISC, in collaboration with participating affiliate societies.

This DMS is organised by the ISC Working Group on Infections in Catastrophic Areas (ICA) and it takes place immediately before the International Congress of Infectious Diseases 19-22.6. Kuala Lumpur

13th International Congress on Infectious Diseases (ICID)

The 13th ICID will continue the pattern of overwhelming successes in recent years in Lisbon, Cancun, Singapore, and Buenos Aires.

, International Symposium for Staphylococci and Staphylococcal Infection, Australian Society for Antimicrobials

Hosted by the Australian Society for Antimicrobials (ASA), this will be the first International Symposium on Staphylococci and Staphylococcal Infections to be held in the southern hemisphere and will be based on the highly successful meetings recently held in Europe, Japan and the USA.

The meeting's programme will cover a diverse range of subjects on staphylococcal research including pathogenesis, genome and gene regulation, drug resistance, molecular epidemiology, clinical and infection control issues, and therapeutics. The plenary and symposium sessions will be presented by the world's leading experts in each of these fields. In addition, proffered oral and poster sessions will be an integral part of the programme and all delegates are invited to submit abstracts. Workshops and Industry breakfast and lunch symposia are also planned.

The ISC International Conference on New Views on Clostridium difficile Infections

This one and a half day meeting will embrace all aspects of this increasingly important disease including epidemiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis and management.  The conference is designed to offer the active participation of all attendees via poster or selected oral presentations and time is being allocated to allow intensive discussions.

We are grateful that leading experts in the field have agreed to participate in the program and we like to invite all interested colleges to discuss with them the pressing issues in C. difficile infection.

9th European Congress of Chemotherapy and 16th Mediterranean Congress of Chemotherapy

The congress is organised by the Federation of European Societies for Chemotherapy and Infection (FESCI), the Mediterranean Society of Chemotherapy, the Turkish Society of Chemotherapy and the Turkish Society of Microbiology, under the auspices of the ISC.

The congress will cover topics including basic experimental and clinical aspects of microbiology and infectious diseases. Recent developments in molecular and genetic fields concerning bacteria, viruses, fungi and immunity will also be considered.

The Congress has a cancer section, also recognized as ESMO labeled meeting and includes recent progress in cancer therapy, especially targeted and biological therapies.
