Geneva, January 2005 Hello, I hope the year 2005 started well for you and your family! From June 4th to 6th, we will hold the 24th International Congress of Chemotherapy (ICC) in Manila. This location gives us the unique opportunity to set an original programme. The Philippines are at the interface of the developed and the developing worlds. Our scientific program reflects this dualism. It includes cutting edge science side by side with very practical issues. The recent tsunami disaster taught us that there is only one planet where the whole humanity has to share knowledge, compassion and mutual assistance. This is true in science as well. Thanks to the Manila gathering, we expect fruitful exchanges, with a final aim of better management of infectious and cancer diseases. I warmly invite you to have a look at this program we are proud of. For easing circulation among the multiple sessions, five major topics tracks have been identified: Clinical Infections: Challenges and Strategies, New antimicrobials and rational drug use, Emerging and Re-emerging Infectious Diseases and Infections in healthcare settings. For more details follow this link : http://www.psmid.org/newprogram.html. We strongly encourage you to share your data with us. To submit an abstract, you can go to http://www.psmid.org/abstract.html. See you in Manila. |
