Straubing / Germany, February 2006

Dear friends,

Already the year is well underway. I hope it proves to be a successful one for you – both professionally and personally.

ISC is currently undergoing a period of change and is embracing the technological age. This will become more apparent as time goes on.

Publication – IJAA - now electronic

As of the start of 2006, The International Journal of Antimicrobial Agents has gone online. All manuscripts should now be submitted electronically via http://ees.elsevier.com/ijaa/ which can also be accessed via the ISC website.

The new system allows for easy submission of manuscripts from anywhere in the world; it speeds up the peer-review and publication process and allows you to track your submission through your own personalised homepage.

New faces at ISC

Changes in the management of the ISC have been prompted by Professor Faridah Moosdeen’s early retirement due to illness. Dr. Fiona MacKenzie is now the ISC Executive Co-ordinator: please direct all enquiries regarding the ISC to her at the address below.
She will be working together with Dr. Morimasa Yagisawa, Tokyo, Japan (yagisawa@antibiotics.or.jp) who is the Executive Director of ISC.
