More than 16 000 urology patients have been
screened for nosocomial urinary tract infections (NAUTI) in the former
4 studies (2003-2006). Two papers have already been published with
the names of all investigators
The GPIU study 2007 is a one-day prevalence study. It is internet
based and will investigate the prevalence of UTI and SSI in hospitalised
urology patients
GPIU-investigators will receive EU-ACME credit
points

Study days are in November 13-15, 20-22
or 27-29, 2007. The exact participation days can be chosen by each
urology department.
